CU Office for Performance Improvement
“Our future demands a permanent culture of innovation in how we do business – fundamentally approaching our processes in new and dynamic ways that preserve quality, and step up our service levels to our students and faculty.” - CU-Boulder Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano
“This office will help improve the effectiveness of work units throughout the university based on actual data showing how effectively we are doing the work and developing improvements from that. We want to empower our employees with this process to help them improve their own jobs.” - Senior Vice Chancellor & Chief Financial Officer Kelly Fox
Led by Associate Vice Chancellor Jeffrey Luftig, the purpose of the Office for Performance Improvement is to provide academic and nonacademic units across campus with the strategies, tools, methods and resources necessary to develop process innovations that will improve quality and performance, rooted in the philosophy of continuous improvement.
